OSTEN & VICTOR ALBERTA TENNIS CENTRE

The OSTEN & VICTOR Alberta Tennis Centre is a non-profit community-based state-of-the-art tennis facility, located in the heart of Acadia, Calgary at 295 90th Ave SE. Calgary, Alberta T2J 0A1

The O&V club features 13 indoor plexipave cushion tennis courts, and covers 71,000 square feet over 3.19 acres. The centre also includes a small pro shop of tennis goods and clothing, a tennis stringing service, a second level viewing area/ lounge, inclusive of a fully licensed 40 Love Cafe.

O&V was awarded The Facility Excellence Award for 2017 by Tennis Canada and is considered a leading Canadian Silver Tennis Development Centre.

PARKING INFO FOR CHALLENGER EVENT

O&V On-site Parking

The O&V Parking Lot located directly outside of the centre will NOT be available for public use during the 2023 Challenger event. This space will be strictly used for the Organization Committee, Volunteers, Staff and will require a parking passes.

Available Parking

Directly across the street from O&V is the Lord Beaverbrook High School student parking lot. This parking lot can be used outside of school hours (Mon-Fri 7:30am – 6pm) and one weekends.

Just up the street  on 90th ave towards Macleod Trail is the Carriage House Inn. There is an overflow parking lot on the corner if Bonaventure Dr SE and 90 Ave SE which may be used at any time.

OTHER VENUE INFO

Food & Drinks

There will be multiple concession stands selling candy, chips, hot dogs and specialty food items.

We will be serving coffee, tea, Coca-Cola Products, Burwood Distillery, Plume Wine and Wildrose Brewery Beer.

Outside food is allowed.

Washrooms

A unisex washroom will be located outside the main building for all general admission ticket holders.

Please follow the marked signs. There are additional washrooms in the VIP lounge for VIP pass holders.

Lost & Found

The tournament is not responsible for lost items. A small lost & found is located in the lobby of the venue.

Cameras & Recording

Recording of the matches is not allowed.

Code of Conduct

Guests exhibiting behaviour that does not align with the ATP, Tennis Canada and Alberta Tennis Centre’s standards will be asked to leave. Guests who are being disruptive or have disruptive children will be asked to leave is it distracts from the performance of the players.

Medical Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, please find a volunteer or staff member wearing an event t-shirt.

Emergency

Please follow large red and white signs to a marked exit. Note the exit nearest your upon entry into the building. Do not attempt to exit through an emergency exit unless it is required to do so as this will set off the building alarms, disrupt play and may result in a fine.
