Men’s & Women’s Professional Event
The Calgary National Bank Challenger (The Challenger) event will return to the OSTEN & VICTOR Alberta Tennis Centre from Oct 13 – 20, 2024. This will be the fifth Challenger event with three years of welcoming women to the tournament. The Challenger event has quickly gained a reputation as one of the premier sporting events in Alberta and one of best ATP Challenger tournament events in the world. It is the largest professional men’s & women’s combined indoor tennis tournament in Canada. In 2024, we will host our International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women’s Pro Circuit Event featuring many of the best up-and-coming female players in the world. This world class event is a must attend event, featuring many of the best up-and-coming and established stars on the ATP, ITF and WTA World Tours.
This event prides itself on bringing the tennis world and the Calgary community together, hosting on-site activities, engaging local tennis clubs and providing opportunities to get on court while the tournament is on.
2024 Schedule
Oct 13 – Oct 17
Gates Open at 9 AM
Matches start at 10 AM and go until end of play, usually around 10 or 11 PM
Feature matches begin around 6 PM
Oct 18
Gates Open at 10 AM
Matches start at 11 AM and go until end of play, usually around 10 or 11 PM
Feature matches begin around 6 PM
Oct 19
Gates Open at 11 AM
Matches start at 12 PM and go until 5 or 6 PM.
Oct 20
Gates Open at 11 AM
Matches start at 1 PM and go until 5 or 6 PM.
