Welcome back Daniel Nestor!
Daniel, a winner of 91 career titles on the ATP Tour, was a Former World #1 Doubles Player, Olympic Gold Medalist and 12x Grand Slam Doubles Champion. In his singles career, he has defeated former World #1 singles players: Stefan Edberg, Thomas Muster, Andre Agassi, Marcelo Rios, and Gustavo Kuerten.
Daniel Nestor will be hosting two doubles clinics during the Calgary National Bank Challenger event and will continue to take on an ambassador role as Honorary Tournament Director. This is a once-and-a lifetime opportunity to get on court with the greatest Canadian doubles tennis player in the history of tennis.
Also, in addition to Daniel Nestor, this year’s camp will feature guest coach and author Uros Budimac, who is returning for the second year. Uros is the author of MINE!, an illustrated guide to women’s doubles. All camp participants will receive a complimentary signed book. Uros is the Head Tennis Professional at the prestigious Granite Club in Toronto.
ABOUT UROS:
Uros Budimac is a Tennis Canada High Performance Level 3 Coach and is also certified with the United States Professional Tennis Association and the Spanish Tennis Registry. He has over 15 years of experience coaching players of all ages and ability levels. For the past 12 years, he managed local tennis programs at Hollyburn Country Club as well as Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club and is one of Canada’s leading coaches. Uros creates change in a players’ tennis game in a friendly yet highly effective way of communicating and believes that everyone can improve – at all levels of play. He was a National level player in Serbia, followed by a tennis scholarship in the US before moving to Vancouver, Canada and devoting himself to his coaching career.
