Oh Canada!

Feb 27, 2020

Tennis Day in Alberta, day 3 at the 2020 Calgary National Bank Challenger, was jam packed with action with tons of singles and doubles matches throughout the day.

Three Canadian players took to the court, with Filip Peliwo and his doubles partner, Harry Bourchier from Australia leading the charge, defeating the Lock brothers from Zimbabwe, 46 63 10-8. Next up was number 1 seed, Vasek Pospisil. Pospisil drew hundreds of fans and fought hard against Kacper Zuk from Poland. The 21-year-old Polish athlete played an excellent match and defeated Pospisil 64 46 64.

The last match of the day did not get started until after 10pm. Canadian Brayden Schnur executed his game plan and defeated Aussie player, Blake Mott, 64 64.

Thursday, February 27, 2020 is shaping up to be another banger of a day with both Ivo Karlovic and Brayden Schnur playing during the daytime session and plenty of exciting doubles matches this evening. A few general admission tickets are still left!
